Invesco Adds Two Defined Maturity Bond ETFs to its BulletShares Suite
August 9, 2018--New Corporate Bond ETF and High Yield Corporate ETF replace maturing Funds
Invesco Ltd. (NYSE: IVZ) a leading global provider of exchange-traded funds (ETFs), announced today the launch of two new BulletShares ETFs, the BulletShares 2028 Corporate Bond ETF (Ticker: BSCS) and the BulletShares 2026 High Yield Corporate Bond ETF (Ticker: BSJQ).
The ETFs will be incorporated into the firm's BulletShares(R) Corporate Bond and BulletShares(R) High Yield Corporate Bond ETF portfolios, which provide defined maturity exposure through investment-grade corporate bonds in a transparent ETF wrapper.

U.S. Weekly FundFlows Insight Report: Trade-War Jitters Keep Equity Mutual Fund Investors at Bay During the Week
August 9, 2018--For the third consecutive week investors were net purchasers of overall fund assets (including those of conventional funds and ETFs), injecting $20.5 billion for Thomson Reuters Lipper's fund-flows week ended August 8, 2018.
But, despite continued strong corporate earnings and a fair nonfarm-payrolls report during the week, fund investors were net redeemers of equity funds (-$962 million), while they padded the coffers of money market funds (+$16.6 billion), taxable bond funds (+$4.2 billion net), and municipal bond funds (+$623 million net).

JPMorgan Adds 2 ETFs To BetaBuilders Lineup
August 8, 2018--J.P. Morgan Asset Management, the asset management and exchange traded funds arm of JPMorgan Chase & Co., added to its lineup of plain vanilla ETFs Wednesday with the debut of two products.
The JPMorgan BetaBuilders Developed Asia-ex Japan ETF (CBOE: BBAX) and the JPMorgan BetaBuilders Canada ETF (CBOE: BBCA) are the new additions to firm's ETF stable.

Innovator Capital Management, LLC (Innovator) announced today the listing of the Innovator S&P 500 Defined Outcome ETFs-July Series on Cboe. The Innovator Defined Outcome ETFs seek to offer investors exposure to the S&P 500 Price Return Index (S&P 500) to a Cap, with downside protection levels (or "buffers") of 9%, 15%, or 30% over an Outcome Period of approximately one year, at which point each ETF will reset. This is the first time investors will have access to structured outcomes through the ETF vehicle.

August 8, 2018--Aptus Capital Advisors rolled out its third exchange traded fund, an actively managed style that incorporates a combination of a laddered bond portfolio strategy with options on U.S. equities to help investors meet their income needs.

The One Time You'll Look Forward to Higher Fees-A Guide to Fulcrum Fees
August 8, 2018--What Is a Fulcrum Fee?
A fulcrum fee is a type of management fee that can go up or down based on the performance of the ETF as compared to a similar benchmark index.
The management fee will adjust up if the ETF outperforms the index and will adjust down if the ETF underperforms the index.
The benchmark index is required to be similar to the investment strategy. For example, if the ETF has a U.S. Large Cap investment strategy, a good benchmark might be the S&P 500 Index.

CBO-Monthly Budget Review for July 2018
August 7, 2018--The federal budget deficit was $682 billion for the first 10 months of fiscal year 2018, CBO estimates, $116 billion more than the shortfall recorded during the same period last year. Revenues and outlays were 1 percent and 4 percent higher, respectively, than in the same period in fiscal year 2017.
As was the case last year, this year's outlays were affected by shifts in the timing of certain payments that otherwise would have been due on a weekend. If not for those shifts, outlays and the deficit through July would have been larger, by roughly $40 billion, both this year and last year-but the year-to-year changes would not have been very different.
