Second Cyber-Security ETF to Launch Tuesday
July 6, 2015--A second cyber-security exchange-traded fund will hit the market tomorrow, just as the sector is hitting a major bout of turbulence.
First Trust Advisors announced in a statement that the First Trust NASDAQ CEA Cybersecurity ETF (CIBR) will debut on Tuesday, July 7.
The new ETF will attempt to mimic the popularity the PureFunds ISE Cyber Security ETF (HACK), which first hit markets in November

New York Stock Exchange Remains Global Leader in Capital Raising in First Half of 2015; Leader in Tech IPOs, REITs and ETP Listings
July 6, 2015--The New York Stock Exchange, part of the Intercontinental Exchange (NYSE:ICE) global network of exchanges, remained the leading exchange globally for capital raising in the first half of 2015,
with 264 transactions raising a total of $94 billion, more than any other exchange in the world. This includes 42 companies that raised $12 billion from initial public offerings (IPOs) in the first half of 2015.

CBOE Futures Exchange To List VIX 'Weeklys' Futures July 23
July 6, 2015--CBOE Futures Exchange, LLC (CFE (R)) today announced that it plans to list futures with weekly expirations on the CBOE Volatility Index(R)(VIX (R) Index) beginning Thursday, July 23, 2015 subject to regulatory review.
VIX Weeklys options at CBOE are expected to follow, also subject to regulatory approval.

CME Group Volume Averaged 14.6 Million Contracts Per Day In June 2015, Up 15 Percent From June 2014

Agricultural commodities average daily volume rose 48 percent
Foreign exchange (FX) average daily volume rose 29 percent
Equities average daily volume rose 16 percent
Energy average daily volume rose 13 percent
CME Group, the world's leading and most diverse derivatives marketplace, today announced that June 2015 volume averaged 14.6 million contracts per day, up 15 percent from June 2014. Total volume for June 2015 was more than 320 million contracts, of which 88 percent was traded electronically. Options volume in June averaged 2.9 million contracts per day, up 28 percent versus June 2014, with electronic options growing 48 percent over the same period.

Principal to license Eaton Vance's NextShares
July 2, 2015--Principal Financial is lining up to launch Eaton Vance's NextShares exchange traded managed funds, even as it nears-listing its first actively managed exchange traded fund.
In a filing last week, it requested Securities and Exchange Commission permission to roll out ETMFs, nontransparent actively managed funds that are tradable intraday and designed to provide ETF-like tax advantages.

Analysis: Strong dollar knocks off $1 trillion from U.S. pension assets
July 2, 2015--The surging dollar looks to have wiped out about $1 trillion in U.S. pension fund assets over a recent nine-month period, eroding much of the gains those funds earned investing in overseas stock markets.
While there has been increased demand for hedging exposure in foreign markets, many U.S. pension funds remain vulnerable to foreign exchange translation losses, currency managers said.

July 2, 2015--BlackRock, Inc. (NYSE:BLK) plans to make benchmark-and in some cases name-changes to four iShares ETFs based on an ongoing process to review its product lineup and ensure it meets the evolving needs of its clients.
Investors in the ETFs do not have to take any action and no capital gains distributions are expected as a result of the transition.
