AUGUST 14, 2015--PIMCO, a leading global investment management firm, is to close and liquidate three ETFs.
PIMCO regularly reviews its product range to ensure it is meeting the requirements of clients in continuing to add value. Following careful consideration the decision has been made to close the following funds: PIMCO 3-7 Year U.S. Treasury Index ETF ("FIVZ"), PIMCO 7-15 Year U.S. Treasury Index ETF ("TENZ"), and PIMCO Foreign Currency Strategy Active ETF ("FORX").

Horizons ETFs announces changes to the Horizons Seasonal Rotation ETF
August 14, 2015--Horizons ETFs Management (Canada) Inc. ("Horizons ETFs") and its affiliate AlphaPro Management Inc. are announcing that, effective immediately, Don Vialoux and Jon Vialoux are no longer affiliated with the Horizons Seasonal Rotation ETF ("HAC").
Brooke Thackray, who has been affiliated with the ETF since its inception in November of 2009, continues in his lead analyst role on HAC to identify and capitalize on seasonal patterns.

Newfleet launches multi-sector unconstrained bond ETF
August 10, 2015--Newfleet Asset Management, a US-based investment advisor and affiliate of Virtus Investment Partners, has entered the exchange-traded fund space with the launch of an actively managed multi-sector bond ETF.

BlackRock Canada Expands its iShares U.S. Equity ETF Line-Up with the Launch of Two New Funds Offering U.S. Mid-Cap Exposure

CBO-Monthly Budget Review for July 2015
August 7, 2015--Summary
The federal government's budget deficit amounted to $463 billion for the first 10 months of fiscal year 2015, CBO estimates.
That deficit was $2 billion larger than the one recorded during the same period last year. If not for shifts in the timing of certain payments (which otherwise would have fallen on a weekend), the deficit for the 10-month period would have declined by $41 billion. On the basis of the government’s revenues and spending so far this fiscal year, CBO expects that the annual deficit will total about $425 billion, which would be less than the $486 billion that the agency projected in March. CBO will publish new multiyear budget projections later in August.
