Millennials are Mad for ETFs, Says New Schwab Study
June 12, 2018--More than half of Millennials would consider placing their entire investment portfolio in ETFs in the next year
Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) are the investment vehicle of choice for 91% of Millennial investors according to the ETF Investor Study by Charles Schwab & Co., Inc.
Millennials say 42% of their portfolios are currently in ETFs, and more than half (56%) of investors in that generation say they have already replaced all individual securities in their portfolios with ETFs. Nearly 80% of Millennials see ETFs as their primary investment vehicle in the future. Looking ahead, nearly three quarters (74%) of Millennials surveyed expect to increase their ETF investments in the next year and 54% say they would consider placing their entire portfolio in ETFs in the same time frame.

June 12, 2018--The Goldman Sachs JUST U.S. Large Cap Equity ETF (Ticker: JUST) invests in large capitalization U.S. companies that engage in "just business behavior" based on rankings produced by JUST Capital
JUST will be priced to investors at 20 basis points1 and will begin trading on the NYSE Arca on June 13 with $50 million in assets.
GSAM today announced the launch of JUST, an exchange-traded fund (ETF) that seeks to provide broad exposure to U.S. large cap equities, with a focus on companies that demonstrate just business behavior, as measured by JUST Capital. Tudor Jones says his social impact ETF has potential to rival the S&P 500
June 12, 2018--On Wednesday, Goldman Sachs is launching an exchange-traded fund (Ticker: JUST) using a model from Paul Tudor Jones' foundation' Just Capital' that scores businesses based on worker treatment' environment' products and other factors.
"I think it's going to be a really big ETF down the road. I think it's going to rival the S&P and the Nasdaq," Jones said in an interview with Andrew Ross Sorkin on CNBC's "Squawk Box."

iShares launches ETF correlated to gold prices
June 11, 2018--BlackRock's iShares has has launched an exchange-traded fund that exposes investors to gold's price performance.
The iShares Gold Strategy ETF has been established as a 1940 Act fund and anticipates a close correlation with the Bloomberg Composite Gold Index. It launched on Cboe Global Markets.

Canadian securities regulators provide additional guidance on securities law implications for offerings of tokens
June 11, 2018--The Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA) today published CSA Staff Notice 46-308 Securities Law Implications for Offerings of Tokens, which provides additional guidance on the applicability of securities laws to offerings of coins or tokens, including ones that are commonly referred to as "utility tokens."
"Since publishing initial guidance, we have engaged with numerous businesses considering token offerings and have found that most of these offerings involve securities," said Louis Morisset, CSA Chair and President and CEO of the Autorité des marchés financiers. "Our notice sets out additional guidance based on situations we have seen to date and common inquiries we have received from businesses and their advisors."

Thompson Hine-SEC Proposals Promote Distribution of Research on Investment Funds
June 11, 2018--Key Notes:
The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is promoting research on investment funds by proposing new Rule 139b under the Securities Act of 1933 (Securities Act) , which would allow unaffiliated brokers or dealers to publish research reports for certain "covered investment funds" without those reports being considered offers for sale.
The SEC is also proposing new Rule 24b-4 under the Investment Company Act of 1940 , as amended (1940 Act) , which would exempt a covered investment fund research report from the filing requirements of Section 24(b) of the 1940 Act.
In addition , the SEC proposes a conforming amendment to Rule 101 of Regulation M that would permit distribution participants to provide information about covered securities if certain conditions are satisfied.
