Two investment funds to be launched at QE
November 23, 2014--In a first, two investment funds are to be launched at the Qatari bourse and one of them is to be listed as early as the year-end.
The CEO of Qatar Exchange (QE) said in a statement to QNA that the fund to be listed this year was in the final stages of approval.

Qatar market flirts with 14,000 points
November 19, 2014--Against the sluggish trend in the region and in East Asia, the Doha-based QE Index gained 0.66 per cent to hit 13,901.08 points on Wednesday, November 19.
Ahli Bank gained the most, ending 3.51 per cent to reach QAR56. Barwa Real Estate surged 3.12 per cent to hit QAR52.90.

FGB bucks sluggish market trend
November 19, 2014--The Abu Dhabi market index ADXGI closed 0.11 per cent lower at 4,936.18 points on Wednesday, November 19.
Al Ain Al Ahlia Insurance gained the most, ending 14.93 per cent higher at AED46.20. Its rival Watania dived eight per cent to close at AED0.91. Eleven shares advanced, while 17 declined in value.
