New ETNs and ETCs from Leverage Shares on Xetra: Leveraged Long and Short Investments on Global Single Companies, Countries, Sectors and Commodities
September 13, 2022--Since Tuesday, six Exchange Traded Commodities and 35 Exchange Traded Notes of Leverage Shares are tradable on Xetra and via Börse Frankfurt for the first time.
The comprehensive overall offering focuses on the long and short performance of global individual equities, equity portfolios from selected countries and sectors and, for the first time, individual commodities using various leverage factors. Leverage Shares is thus expanding its offering from 87 to a total of 128 products.
With the ETNs, investors have the opportunity, for example, to invest in the performance of the 500 largest US companies or the 40 largest German companies, or to focus on individual stocks such as Alibaba, Microsoft or Siemens. Individual commodities include gold, silver and oil.

ESAs warn of rising risks amid a deteriorating economic outlook
September 12, 2022--The three European Supervisory Authorities (EBA, EIOPA and ESMA-ESAs) issued today their Autumn 2022 joint risk report. The report highlights that the deteriorating economic outlook, high inflation and rising energy prices have increased vulnerabilities across the financial sectors. The ESAs advise national supervisors, financial institutions and market participants to prepare for challenges ahead.
The post-pandemic economic recovery in Europe has dwindled as a result of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Russia's war on Ukraine and the disruptions in trade caused a rapid deterioration of the economic outlook. It adds to pre-existing inflationary pressures by strongly raising energy-and commodity prices, exacerbates imbalances in supply and demand, and weakens the purchasing power of households. The risk of persistent inflation and stagflation has risen.

New Xtrackers bond ETF on Xetra: access to the Indian government bond market in local currency
September 12, 2022--Since Monday, a new exchange-traded fund issued by Xtrackers is tradable on Xetra and via Börse Frankfurt.
The Xtrackers India Government Bond UCITS ETF offers investors access to fixed-income and zero-coupon government bonds issued by the Indian central government in Indian rupee.
The Indian authorities have made it much easier for foreign investors to access their government bond market through the Fully Accessible Route (FAR) programme. Under the FAR, investors can invest without being subject to investment caps.

September 12, 2022--Four new exchange-traded funds issued by Invesco have been tradable on Xetra and via Börse Frankfurt since Monday.
The Invesco Hydrogen Economy UCITS ETF tracks the performance of companies worldwide whose innovative technologies focus on promoting the use of hydrogen, fuel cells and the potential hydrogen economy.
The Invesco Wind Energy UCITS ETF allows investors to invest globally in companies specialising in the promotion and increased use of wind energy. In particular, companies are selected that are active in onshore and offshore wind energy, focus on improving wind turbines and blades, provide materials for wind energy and modernise the grid.

September 9, 2022--Summary:
The pass-through effects of oil price shocks on wage and consumer price inflation vary with the states or structural characteristics of an economy. The effects have declined over time in Europe and been higher in emerging European economies than in advanced economies.
The pass-through to wages is found to have been higher when the prevailing level of inflation was higher or when the degrees of unionization and centralized bargaining were higher, while lower under a higher credibility of monetary policy. The effects of oil price shocks on core inflation and inflation expectations are consistent with their effects on wages.

September 8, 2022--Since Friday, a new exchange-traded fund issued by Global X is tradable on Xetra and via Börse Frankfurt.
The Global X Disruptive Material UCITS ETF enables investors to participate in the performance of companies active in the exploration, mining, production and refining of disruptive materials. These include commodities such as cobalt, copper, graphene and graphite, lithium, palladium, rare earths, and zinc.
These materials are relevant for the development and implementation of disruptive technologies. These are technologies that are used to develop and implement long-term, structural changes in existing products, services, industries, or sectors.

New equity ETF from HSBC on Xetra: companies with focus on promoting biological diversity
September 8, 2022--A new exchange-traded fund issued by HSBC Asset Management has been tradable on Xetra and via Börse Frankfurt since Thursday.
The HSBC World ESG Biodiversity Screened Equity UCITS ETF offers investors access to a portfolio of 500 of the largest companies by market capitalisation from industrialised countries.
These companies must strive to identify and reduce negative impacts on biodiversity. Different sectors are considered, such as the technology, industrial, consumer, healthcare, and financial sectors.
In addition, companies that violate the principles of the UN Global Compact or are active in the arms, coal, oil and gas and tobacco sectors are excluded.

September 7, 2022--Four new exchange-traded funds issued by Legal & General Investment Management have been tradable on Xetra and via the trading venue Börse Frankfurt since Wednesday.
The L&G ESG Exclusions UCITS ETFs offer investors access to companies with a thematic focus, considering ESG criteria. The reference indices from the Solactive index family exclude companies that are included in the ESG Exclusions Enhanced Index.
