BOJ Mar Minutes: Must Watch JGBs on More Easing
April 12, 2015--A few Bank of Japan board members expressed the view that the BOJ must pay attention to developments in the Japanese government bond markets, including its functioning and negative side-effects stemming from more easing, at the March 16-17 policy-setting meeting, the minutes released Monday showed.
"A few members pressed the view that, in pursing QQE, it was important to carefully assess the mechanism of price formation in the JGB (Japanese government bond) market as well as examine and compare the positive effects and side effects of JGB purchases," the minutes showed.

Malaysia's i-VCAP launches first regional Islamic ETF
April 8, 2015--Malaysia's I-VCAP Management Sdn Bhd on Wednesday launched its first regional Islamic exchange-traded fund (ETF) to include stocks from the Southeast Asia region.
The fund, MyETF MSCI SEA Islamic Dividend, is open to investors and will be listed on May 7, the company said in a statement.
It will include Sharia-compliant stocks from Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines.
