CFTC Reproposes Position Limits Rule
December 5, 2016--The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) today voted unanimously to repropose regulations implementing limits on speculative futures and swaps positions as called for in the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (Dodd-Frank Act).
In a separate vote, CFTC approved final aggregation regulations, which are a key component of the CFTC's existing position limits regime.

Dhandho Junoon ETF Announces Shareholder Approval Of Plan Of Reorganization
December 5, 2016--Dhandho Junoon ETF, a series of Elevation ETF Trust (the Fund), announced that, at the shareholder meeting held today, Fund shareholders of record as of October 25, 2016 approved a reorganization of the Fund into a newly-created, identically named exchange-traded fund (ETF) of the Cambria ETF Trust.

PIMCO Settles Charges of Misleading Investors About ETF Performance
December 1, 2016--The Securities and Exchange Commission today announced that investment management firm Pacific Investment Management Company (PIMCO) agreed to retain an independent compliance consultant and pay nearly $20 million to settle charges that it misled investors about the performance of one its first actively managed exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and failed to accurately value certain fund securities.
According to the SEC's order issued today, PIMCO's Total Return ETF attracted significant investor attention as it outperformed even its flagship mutual fund in the four months following its launch in February 2012.

Invesco Expands Factor ETF Line-up with Launch of Two High Dividend Low Volatility Funds
December 1, 2016--Invesco (NYSE: IVZ), a leading global provider of exchange-traded funds (ETFs), announced today the launch of two new factor ETFs that blend together high dividend and low volatility exposures.
With these two funds, PowerShares now has 76 ETFs in its, factor lineup.
Combining high dividend and low volatility factors is potentially attractive to investors in light of government stimulus across Asia, Europe and the United States pushing bond yields to historically low levels and in certain circumstances into negative territory.
Gabelli Funds launches Gabelli Media Mogul NextShares
November 30, 2016--Gabelli Funds, LLC, a subsidiary of GAMCO Investors, Inc. (NYSE:GBL), announced today that Gabelli Media Mogul NextShares (the "Fund") would list and commence trading on Nasdaq Stock Market LLC on December 1, 2016 under the symbol "MOGLC."
The Fund is the first member of the Gabelli NextShares Trust offered under an agreement with NextShares Solutions LLC, a subsidiary of Eaton Vance Corp. (NYSE:EV).

Global X Funds Announces Index Change for Gold Explorers ETF
November 23, 2016--Global X Funds, the New York-based provider of exchange-traded funds (ETFs), today announced that the Global X Gold Explorers ETF (NYSE: GOEX) will undergo an index change and track the Solactive Global Gold Explorers & Developers Total Return Index.
The Fund is expected to begin implementation of the change no earlier than November 30, 2016, with the change occurring in two phases.
